Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Rahman - Welcome to Planning Planet.

Are you sure your stated dia 80,000 inch is correct - thats is close to 1.5 miles?

Whatever - microsoft excell is useless for project planning so you need to aquire proper time control software.

I understand from your brief description that the pipeline is not entirely horizontal in a trench but is installed within the plant both horizontal and vertical - in which case you do not need a time / distance software such as Vico or Tilos.

P6 is the most common software in India but it is not the simplest to operate - particularly for a novice.

My choice will be Asta PowerProject and you can buy a license in India - visit www.astadev.com to see what it looks like and download a 30 day demo version before you buy.

Best regards
