Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi everyone, just wondering is there any one who is not ticking these two options and if yes, can you tell my you won't tick the boxes for these two? What would be the difference?

This is where you have your resources, under detail, profile.

Abbas, 'Calculate cost from units' means that the price of a resource assignment is calculated from one of the five available prices in the resource dictionary, rather than entered manually for each resource assignment. I ALWAYS tick this box, since it can be overridden for a particular resource assignment if there is a fixed price you must record independent of the resource quantity. 'Auto Compute Actuals' is ONLY appropriate if you do not have a timesheet system to record the real quantity of Actual aka expended quantities for each resource assignment. This fixes for the entire project a CPI of 1.00.
