Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

I have several projects that i open at the same time. I want to sort the projects into a specific order. They are shown in the EPS in the order i want. When i open them all and go the activity view they are in a different order. How can i specify a sort order?

Thank you

Al

Hi All,

I also found that if you get the project in the correct order in the project view using the project ID as the sort then sort the WBS alphabetically in the activity view they go to the same order as the project view.

Thanks

Sorry, that no longer works. It is OK in the activity window, but not the project window. They have had twnty years to get this right. I shall report back if I find a way to properly order projects in version 19

With all the projects open, go to the WBS window, Collapse All, and just move them up and down with CTRL-arrow key.

Thanks Oracle, you changed that keystroke sequence. Took me 20 minutes.

Try making the first row of your grouping as "EPS/WBS" and uncheck the Indent box.
