Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is the 64 bit SDK .xls file available ?

3 replies [Last post]

The .xls SDK files downloaded from oracle support is not working in a 64 bit OS/Office.

Its giving an error to update the VB coding to 64 bit(The oracle file created in a 32 bit OS).

Is there anyone updated the codes to 64 bit ? or from where can i get the 64 bit files

Yes that is a good idea also add a finish milestones for phases. Add a finish milestone for phase 1 that is tied to the start milestone for phase 2.

I would not use a start on constraint unless there is a good reason for it. If it is a contractual release date of a phase then I would use it otherwise I would let the logic determine the date. If the date does not match when you plan to get into phase 1 then maybe you need to add more activities as predecessors to the start of phase 1

Thank you Mr.Zoltan Palffy,

It will definitely work. If someone can work on the VB script and be able to come up with 64 bit SDK that will be very helpfull for the entire community ?.

One more doubt i have Is it recomended to create each phase starting as start of phase 1 as start milestone and use start on constraints to fix it in a particular date ?

Thanks and best regards,
