(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Some user permissions have been changed recently and a user has complained that he can no longer update the resources in the resource assignment screen. I'm an Admin superuser and have all access and I can't do it but he is adamant that this was possible before. Has anyone else ever done this on P6 8.3.1?
On a related note I am unable to amend resources via the activity resource spreadsheet or the resource usage spreadsheet on the activities screen. Is there a user preference somewhere that needs to be amended or is this by design?

For the user who permissions have been changed then this would be the reason that access to the rescource functions are not available.
If you are a superuser and you have checked and made sure that all of the boxes are cheked for premission thaen there should not be any reason why you do not have the ability to amend resources. Just becasue you are a superuser does not mean that your rights could have not been changed by someone else.
