Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

I have a project where all the 11 baseline allowed in MSP has been used, the problem is the "Baseline" is the last image of the schedule that the scheudler saved before the last update. "Baseline1" is March end and "baseline2" is February end, now I want to copy the "baseline10" to "baseline" as "baseline10" is the "real baseline" for the project at award.

Second question is, Is there a way to delete cost and work information from the baseline schedule before sending this to the client.

regards

Pranab

Hi Pranab,

the easiest way is to copy Baseline_X to Interim Plan_X; then to set a new Baseline_X, it will replace the former one

the difference between Baseline and Interim Plan is: Interim Plan only saves Start and Finish Dates, not Work and Cost.

if you want to save both Start/Finish and Work/cost, create a new table with Custom fiels for all these 4 original fields (Date, Work, Cost) ; then copy and paste the Baseline fields to this new table

************

to answer your second question, I know no way to automatically set to 0 the Cost and Work fields in either the original schedule or the baseline in MSP; when I have to do this, I relly on the "Del" key on my computer keyboard!

Cheers
