Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all,

I've hit a brick wall with this one and just want to check with you to see if there's a solution

to it.

I'm currently using Primavera P6 v8.3.2 and want to export a file into a MS Project format.

The options are '.MPX, XML' formats, both of which are not supported by MS Project 2013 when

I try and open the file.

Is there a converter out there or a workaround to allow me to open my Primavera file or

should I buy an earlier version of MS Project that does support these file formats e.g. MS project 2007?

Appreciate any help on this one as my client loves MS Project!

Cheers

Neil in Ireland.

Neil,

Seems to be an issue in v8.32 which was fixed in v8.4.

See article below from tensix wesbite
