Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Incorrect representation of Progress Line in summary bar??

Dear All,

 

I have baselined my schedule and started recording the progress.

when i put the progress line,it shows prefectly correct for all the activities.But in the summary bar the Progress line goes ahead of the status date.I have 10 activites under that summary bar and in that 2 activities are over as per the plan.So by logic the progress line should show straight instead of moving ahead.Why is this thing happening...

Please guide me

Hello All,

 

I have got the reply to my query by Mr Ismet who is a PP Member.

I have been worrying that the Progress line was showing ahead when it should be in a staright line as the actual % is same as Planned %. but MSP draws the Prgress line to the next working activity by default...

I find this thing a bit strange though..
