Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

Can't see if this has been asked/answered before - if so, apologies.

A colleague has produced a detail schedule in MSP, and when saved it was fine with all sub-tasks showing under the correct summary task.

However, when it is reopened, all the sub-tasks appear to be distributed randomly around the schedule, additional blank lines appear, and other tasks are renumbered.

We have looked at saving with and without sorting on, there are no groupings set up, and we are only using the Gant Chart view.

Has anyone else come across this problem before, and if so, was there a solution.

Many thanks.

Mike,

Thanks for confirming our suspicions. We managed to establish which copy was the latest "non-corrupted" version and fortunately this didn't require much work to replicate that in the corrupted file. Annoying though!!!

Thanks.
