Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have updatd an MSP schedule with progress and would like the activity bars to be shaded to indicate the progess. For instance if an activity is 50% complete and I input the data into the "Physical % Complete" comlumn, I would like that activity bar on the gantt chart to be shaded 50% to indicate the progress.

Could you help me please?

Trevor,
I did not include status date as it mean to show the progress on bar and also not run the schedule to move all non-started and in progress activities to status date.

Rodel, in your tracking example, what date is the status date?

Jaime,
As long as you progress your activity using % complete then even 100% should be doing the same. See sample below

Rodel,

Another quick query!

I followed the steps for the progressing and it works fine! but tasks that are at 100% complete, do not have any shading and continue to be displayed the same! can you tell me how i will have the full activity bar shaded completely when at 100%?

Thanks

Jaime,
Use the % complete to progress your bar instead of Physical %.
Right click then select task information then under General Tab enter Percent Complete or Select Header Column then right click, select insert column then under field name select % complete. Once the % complete column is visible enter your progress.
