Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

Is it possible to create and save a layout using your own columns rather than from a pre-selected menu ?

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob,

Yes it is. Firstly you need to create a Task or Resource table to use depending on what suits your needs and then create your custom view using that table.

View > Table: > More Tables...

Create/edit/copy a table to include the columns you want to display, making sure the check the ’Show in menu option’

View > More Views...

Create/edit/copy a view and select the Table you created from the drop-down menu, making sure the check the ‘Show in menu option’

Regards,

Darren
