Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we finalise the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello Norzul,

You can do the traditional way, just refer to the particular posting in your reply thread. In this way the reader know that you are refering to a particular post. This was done before. Of course if we can find the best way of doing it, then it will greatly improve PP forum.

Quoting posts, reviewing an existing thread while composing your own post and previewing your posts are all functions that are available in most forum software (including the one we use at the PMKB).

TQ Bernard. I can understand for the bold, italic & underlined.

But I don’t understand for the quote. Whenever, I click "post reply", it will automatically go to the posting page. Normally in other forum, there is a "quote" feature in the threads.

The above is useful when there are many threads and your reply is only intended to one of them only...

In addition, I would suggest we also have "Preview Note" option, so that we can have a preview first prior to posting

Thanks

With the PP forums, you need to use some HTML codes to dress up your posts (if you like).

bold text

italics text

underlined text

quoted text
