Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Friends,

I have saved different views and filters in my project. What is the easiest way to import/transfer all these saved views and filters to another project to save my time?

Mike, Vas, others peers please help me.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris,

If you want to copy filter sort/group and tables (which view consist of) to existing file - just go to Library Explorer, Display "Filter" "Group/Sort" and "Table Definition" - right click on selected filter sort/group, tables or whole folders and paste into new file's library explorer - same place.

Whole views cant be copied from one file to another.

Thanks Mike

Thats the easy way in Asta . Isnt?

But in P6, we can easily import layouts and filters in any new project. So any such option is still not available in Asta?

If any, please share.

Hi Chris

Save the file with a new name and delete all the tasks you don't need.

Best regards
