His roles and responsibilities included the following;

·     Reviewing and commenting on the contractor’s baseline programme and advising the Senior Resident Engineer

·     Reviewing actual progress on site against the construction time schedule

·     Reviewing and monitoring the engineering, procurement and fabrication activities of the contractor and inputting progress into the time schedule.

·     Assessing the extension of time claims submitted by the contractor using Time Impact Analysis and preparing recommendations and comments for the Resident Engineer.

·     Preparing the master construction schedule, logistic plans, and construction cash flow

·     Reviewing the contractor’s and supplier’s program, and evaluating and recommending viability of the construction schedule.

·     Preparing periodic reports on project performances (cost, time, QA/QC and EHS).

·     Ensuring that the contractor’s mitigation/recovery programme is realistic and achievable.

·     Attending site to evaluate site progress against the contractor’s programme.

·     Preparing monthly and bi-weekly progress reports of work completed on site and making presentation to the resident engineering team.
