• Organize and conduct preventive, predictive, opportunity based maintenance, overhauling, shutdown of the rotary as well as static equipments.

• Primary role is to provide the required technical and engineering support to MEG Maintenance to safely and reliably maintain its plant.

• Coordinate, review and assign appropriate maintenance strategy (PM,Run to Fail) using methodology like Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FEMA).

• To perform “root cause analysis” for various rotating equipment failure modes, and the develop Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.

• Perform periodic review of “Bad Actors,” of the equipment with the following conditions:

    • Low Mean Time between Failures (MTBF)

    • High maintenance cost

• Coordination with (Operation, Electrical & Instrumentation) staff as a part of isolation and restoration procedure of Preventive, Break down and Emergency Maintenance System.

• Carrying out failure analysis of rotary and static equipments and finding out ways of eliminating them.

• To coordinate and follow-up  new work and upgrade projects to ensure their timely completion in the same fiscal year for which they are planned
• • Develop the appropriate maintenance strategies for equipment reliability
  • Activities related to commissioning and startup of a plan
  • Identify all availability of spares and order spares.
  • Provide history of equipment repaired.
  • Engineer and supervise all mechanical modification or project and contractor jobs.
  • Analyze mechanical problems and propose the solution to superior.
  • Perform safety responsibility and set high standard of safety.
  • Process the RA bill for monthly maintenance.
  • Equipment/ spares availability and refurbishment management.
  • Execution of Plant Major Shutdowns/Turnaround Maintenance
  • Maintaining Reliability of Static as well as Rotary Equipments
  • Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning related activities
  • Trouble-shooting
  • Preparation of Standard Maintenance Procedures
  • Conduct root cause analysis along with OME team for required corrective action and follow
