PLANNING ENGINEER, AHMED BARAKAH TRADING & CONTRACTING, Construction of 45 VILLA Complex and its Interior work

Ø  Establishing realistic schedules for all projects and ensure implementation of most appropriate and effective progress measurement and reporting systems by the Consultants & Subcontractors to enable effective monitoring of the progress and timely project completions

Ø  Preparation of integrated Baseline from project submittal and follow up on the all phases of project work with the aid of Primavera P6.

Ø  Preparing update and maintain systems and procedures relating to Project Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, Progress Trending, Progress Certification, etc. consistent with the Company requirements.

Ø  Preparation of Resource control & risk analysis of Baseline programme in line with the project scope and methodology.

Ø  Performs special analysis for resource loading and performance progress of the project.

Ø  Establishment of project and subcontractor Milestones, and monitoring of construction project

Ø  Prepare work program based on activity network on the project phase , cash flow & manpower histogram and manage the project control operations throughout the completion of the project

Ø  Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, project plans , time over runs based on various analytical tools e.g Critical Path Analysis

Ø  Preparation of “S” curves and conduct monthly progress report

Ø  Ensuring that all project control requirements are adequately incorporated into the Tenders/Agreements for various projects (Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, PMC, etc.).

Ø  Evaluation & analyzing the reported progress and schedule status identify the Areas of concern impacting the project completion schedule and advise the Project Managers on the proposed corrective actions.

Ø  Application of CPM and EVA in identifying the positive float of activities and the value of progress in project

Ø  Preparation of daily reports, chairing progress meetings, review of progress payment, implementation of project plans and specifications

Ø  Assist QS team in take-off quantities and measurement of the level of work done.

Ø  Generated internal progress and reporting procedures based on performance baseline values.
