Project Planning Engineer

June 2010 – October 2012 PMOF, Gorgon LNG Project, Barrow Island

Lead Planning Resource for design, procurement & construction of marine/ offshore materials offloading facility. AUD 500 million

• A 10,000 DWT barge berth and a 200m Ro-Ro vessel berth. The
barge berth and Ro-Ro vessel berth consist of 11 400t precast concrete
caissons which were shipped to
site on a heavy lift vessel and floated into position.
• A Module Carrier berth comprising a combi-pile wall structure.
• Seven berthing and mooring dolphins for the Module Carrier and Ro-Ro
vessel. The dolphins were prefabricated
steel tubular jackets with fenders and bollards attached for
berthing and mooring.
• A small craft landing to accommodate small craft up
to 20 m long.
• Two Navigation Aid Support Structures
