Planning and Scheduling Lead, HICAPS, Auburn High School
Assisted the General Contractor, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing subcontractors with planning the construction phase of a new $35M new high school. Established a baseline plan using Critical Path Method. Using status information provided by the GC and subcontractor. Facilitated monthy update review meetings to ensure the responsible subcontractors participates and are knowledgeable of projected plan. Provided monthly updates and reports to the Project Manager and team. Cost resource loading the schedule was value-engineered out. I used activity durations (Crew Days) to artifically resource load the schedule for performance metrics reporting and trends. Finish dates variances, as compared to previous updates, were used to report trends.
Performed the above duties from the site clearing/foundations phase through the mechanical and electrical rough phase.
Had to give duties of this project and one other to a fellow scheduler due to demands of another project which was increasingly requiring full-time attention.
