Cost Estimation

Estimation of cost and duration of works; using proposed delivery strategy to develop a project estimation cost including resource, equipment and materials to be used.

Management of quotations from potential suppliers; ensuring services meet job requirements and are a cost effective solution.

Production of job/contract risk registers for risk assessment purposes; analysing potential project risks for the costing of potential compensation events should such a requirement occur.

Tendering

The role is involved with all aspects of tendering process. Visiting site in first instance; understanding scope of works requirements and digesting job technical specifications.

Production of returnable documentation; working with engineers/scientists/radiological personnel to develop a works delivery strategy and propose how company will meet client requirements.

 Understanding contract terms and conditions (usually nec3) and completing contract data part 2.
