Bespoke Producer of Copper Based metals, employs 35 people, with a turnover of £5m

Plan production schedules, Update customers on delivery and production issues.  Purchasing consumables and other ad hoc procurement items when required.  Key customer account management, loading orders onto system and contract review for regular orders. 

Taking control of the management of the finishing and machining teams through their day to day work load, giving me a great understanding of the workings of a foundry.  The purchase of all sub-contract work including transport for the company, with day to day communication with the subcontractors.  Making sure that all delivery dates were met for the business and if there were any delivery issues, communicating that to the client.  Working to a transport budget and making sure that good value for money from all sub contract work was achieved.
