  • Snr. Planning / Cost Control Engineer

    Responsibility:  

      • Responsible for the schedule development, proper planning, monitoring & controlling of the entire scope of work delivered according to contract requirements.
      • Identification, assessment, and prioritization of both positive and negative risk which is followed by coordinated and economic application of resources to minimize, monitor and control the probability/ impact of risk as well as maximizing positive risk.
      • Prepare technical submission for tender purpose with the tender department
      • Coordinate with team members and implementation of innovative risk management techniques in an integrated manner.
      • Monitor actual costs generate by the job costing process on a periodic bases against budget
      • Prepare cost reports related to actual / incurred costs, earned value, cost and schedule performance indices, to-date variances, estimates to complete, estimates at completion and the cost variances at completion for all control accounts.
      • Attend weekly/monthly coordination meetings while highlighting adverse schedule and cost variances for corrective actions
      • Monitor and track Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities in the projects.
      • Control subcontractor's work program, notify delays and help to mitigate delays.
      • Evaluate and approve subcontractors’ claim for extension of time
      • Preparing & updating Schedules, Resource (Manpower, Equipment & Material), Procurement control logs, progress measurement & monitoring system, progress reports (Weekly & Monthly) including progress assessment curves and productivity Reports.
