Mbalam-Nabela Iron Ore ProjectUS$6 Billion 35 Million tonnes per annum Iron Ore Project in Cameroon and Congo (West Africa) consisting of  600km Rail, Iron Ore process Plant, Port Material Handling and Ship loading facility, Airport & Accommodation facilities

Principal Projects Planner (7 months full time, then consulting role as required)6/2010to 10/2014

Phase 1 – Develop schedule to assist Sundance in obtaining Environmental approval for project.

Phase 2 - Development of a fully integrated Level 3 detailed project schedule from Mine to Port including all units of measure, man-hours and cost that balances with Project Capital cost Estimate.

Phase 3 – Convert Project schedule into a Bankable schedule for owner to raise funds for project.

Phase 4 – Convert Project schedule into multiple sub-projects for tender and pricing but automate re-introduction of relationships between projects for time management.

Selected Accomplishments:

Built complete Project Capital cost estimate of US$6 billion into detailed Level 3 Design, Procure, construct & Commission schedules in such a manner that they balance by units of measure and cost and have a common cost and schedule coding structure.

Breakdown of Project estimated 25,000,000 man-hours into Expat, local and direct man-hours. Categorizing and leveling of direct man-hours in schedule due to extreme cost of labor requirements in equatorial remote areas to enable accurate management of remote camps over 600km project areas.

Detailed breakdown of 600km of rail line including 7 complex train bridges through 2000m of elevation from port to mine.
