START Date:
December, 2015
END Date:

I was Lead planning engineer for Shanahan Engineering working on the short term commissioning programme of block 2 of the 2.2gw CCGT PP-12 power station 140km west of Riyadh, total make up across the plant of 8 Gas Turbines, 8 HRSG’s & 2 Steam Turbine’s.

I undertook the full range of duties associated with day to day project planning on a major large scale power project across all levels of the commissioning schedule. I performed weekly schedule updates, wrote daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly reports, calculated weekly earned value, provided weekly/monthly sub-contractor schedule management, EOT reviews & submissions, claims management, production of S curves, commodity curves, resource histograms, daily & weekly management dashboard & weekly client presentations.

I setup from scratch all project control & progress measurement tools for the project, including the master progress measurement tool to enable highly detailed and accurate weekly earned value reporting across the whole project based upon estimated man-hours for the project interlinked to the WBS.
