April, 2013 ISS project for national Grid involves the construction of Electrified Security Fencing and Security measures within Electricity Substations and Gas A.G.I.’s on a design and build basis. This is a framework contract lasting for 3 years with a turnover in excess of £40 Million Per Annum. Responsible for all planning duties for 3 designs & 3 construction sites in and around the South West. Based on one of the live construction sites at least 3 days a week.
- Preparation of Design and Construction Programmes within the confines of a client specified WBS.
- Resource & Cost Loading of these Programmes.
- Integration of other contractors programmes into our programmes.
- Application of Project and Activity Codings to enable production of “Construction Friendly” Programmes and reports.
- Monitoring of design and construction progress by means of weekly trackers by pro-actively chasing update information on a regular basis.
- Recording and impacting into programs, Compensation Events, Early Warnings and the like.
- Work closely with project commercial team in producing financial reports, monthly progress reports and valuations.
- Regular attendance at week site progress meeting.
