South East Electricity Sub-Station Alliance, National Grid, UK – £700 million (£120 – £170 million per annum) hi-voltage capital investment programme carried out in an Alliance arrangement (Mott MacDonald, Skanska and Areva) for National Grid over a five year programme.

Full Life Cycle Planner with responsibility to create, monitor and update Primavera plans. Interact with and understand the requirements of multiple stakeholders. Create plan either from the available templates or by interacting with concerned team. Costs load the plans with resources and expenses. Coordinate monthly update meeting with design and/or site teams and update the plans. Provide the Project Management with the outcome of the update and also highlight any issues that may arise. Produce monthly Earned value and Performance reports for the individual schemes. Update the plans with approved changes. Assist Project Management in tracking the performance of KPIs and Outages. Have good knowledge of key Primavera features such as Store Period Performance, Activity Steps, Cost Accounts, Reports, WPs and Docs and also regarding various breakdown structures.

As a Database Administrator for the Planning team got involved in baselines maintenance. Also responsible to create, maintain and update calendars, project codes, activity codes, resource codes and user defined codes in Primavera P6.

§         Part of the Planning Steering group to identify solutions for key issues such as a monthly update layout, creating new templates, etc

§         Successfully incorporated macros to make the Dashboard Report spreadsheet more user friendly and accurate. Also responsible to upgrade and maintain the reports and make changes as and when required by the stakeholders.

§         Developed a method to add planner ID and other details into Workbook spreadsheet that monitors the KPI milestones for all SEESA schemes. Also responsible to update the report monthly and distribute it to the stakeholders.
