2007 – 2009 Planning Engineer
Role as a planning engineer for Mott MacDonald (using P6 software) supporting bids/projects on the East London Line development and Crossrail. Providing planning support for the design works on railway; signalling, communication, permanent way, traction power and civils.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing detailed cost/earned value breakdown to support bids
- Producing client period reports to Transport for London (TfL)
- Organising team update reports and chairing weekly team conference calls
- Working with clients such as Network Rail on tender review and scoring
- Meetings with clients to update and report on progress
Other specific responsibilities included:
Bid co-ordination manager for the planning function for all of the Crossrail Packages 25, guiding the bid managers through the process and supporting the production of the bids.
