April, 2012 - This Major Rail Project includes various Civil, Drainage, Concrete Works, Formation Repairs, Vegetation, Overhead Lines / OHTE Electrification, Signalling, Track work, Set Automation, Roads, Bridges, various Workshop Buildings, High Mast Lighting, Road/Rail Shunt Mobiles, Lifting Jacks, Overhead Electrical Travelling Cranes, Fencing, Sewer System, Conveyors, RO Plant, Loco Sanding Plant, Power Upgrade, 50Kv Switching Station, etc.
- Contracting strategies within the New Engineering Contract (NEC).
- Establish, Maintain & Update Level 3, 4 & 5 Contractual Programs as per Project Scope.
- Developing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) per Project.
- Develop; Control & Update detailed Construction Programs for Sub-Contractor.
- Assign Resources & Cost to Project Programs.
- Tender Evaluations.
- Reviewing Contractors Programmes and Compensation Event Assessment.
- Integrating Contractors Programmes into Master Programme.
- Participate with EPCM Planning and measurement of Earned Value and Control.
- Monitor & Report on Sub-Contractors Progress & Performance.
- Inform Management of any deviations from the Baseline Program & advice mitigation measures to correct.
- Develop; Control & Update detailed Commissioning / Shutdown Programs.
- Preparation of weekly & monthly Project Progress Reports with S-Curves & Histograms.
- Produce quality reports in accordance with the Planning Guidelines and Procedures.
- Training & Development of Junior Planners and Contractors on all aspects of Planning.
- Primavera P3, P6, MS Project & CCS software used.
