Client: Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease

The scheme includes major ground works, substructure concrete, and steel frame superstructure with in-situ concrete slabs.

 

2004 – 2005 Assistant Project Manager

RACH Brighton, Structural concrete to new Royal Alexandra Children Hospital

Client: BSUH Trust and Kajima Europe Construction

The scheme includes major ground works, substructure concrete and reinforced concrete frame superstructure.

 

2004 Project Manager

National Police Memorial,Structural concrete to national monument for The Police Trust

Client: Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease

The scheme includes concrete base slab, water tank pit, new plant room and ground work for drainage and manhole, and preparation for cladding installation. All structures were reinforced concrete frame.

 

2003 – 2004 Project Planner

Project W8, Structural concrete to major office and retail development for The Crown Estate on London’s Regent Street

Client: Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease

The scheme includes sub-structure works including retaining and party walls structure, and superstructure concrete infills.

 

2002 – 2003 Project Planner

GOGGS East (H.M. Treasury), Phase 2 of major Structural Refurbishment to H.M. Treasury

Client: Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease

The scheme includes foam concrete infills to basement areas, major reinforced concrete works to a revised Great East Court ground floor slab, and a total reconfiguration of the Drum Courtyard Roof (Level 3, 4, and 5 of the existing structure). The works also include a multitude of additional ancillary works to the above, notably to below ground areas.

 

2001 – 2002 Project Planner

Paternoster Square Development, London. Building 1, 2 and 3

Client: Stanhope and Bovis Lend Lease

The scheme includes all Structural Concrete works to 3 major office buildings at the above location adjacent to St. Paul’s Cathedral, London. 2 buildings were Steel Frame with in-situ concrete floors, column encasements, etc; the third was a total RC Frame. [‘Building 2’ is the new Stock Exchange]. Works included all Ground works to each of the structures together with all ancillary RC works. All buildings were 2 Floors below and 8 Floors above Ground Level.

 

 

 

 

2000 – 2001 Assistant Project Manager / Project Planner

Paternoster Square Development, London. Infrastructure and Building 6

Client: Stanhope and Mace

Phase 1 of major Structural Development to Paternoster Square including major Reinforced Concrete works to infrastructure and RC Frame to Building 6. Works included all Groundworks together with all ancillary RC works. Infrastructures were basement, lower ground and ground floor. Building 6 were 1 floor below and 5 floors above ground level.

 

2000 Assistant Project Manager

GSK House, Brentford

Client: Mace

The scheme includes all Structural Concrete works to new GSK Headquarter at Brentford. The structure is divided into 4 sections. All sections were Steel Frame with in-situ concrete floors, column encasement, etc. Works included all Groundworks to each of the structures together with all ancillary RC works. Building A, C and D were 2 Floors down and 8 Floors above Ground Floor and Building B were 2 Floors down and 15 Floors above Ground Floor.

 

1999 – 2000 Assistant Engineer

Millennium Dome, Greenwich

Client: NMEC and Sir Robert McAlpine

The scheme includes all major structural of The Millennium Dome. Works included all Ground works to main structure, temporary structures and infrastructure. RC Foundations and Road-work also included in this project.

 

                              My responsibilities during my employment with the company were:

  1. As a Planner my role was to establish the construction works and target programme for the contract, gather information to carry out the weekly monitoring / review of the project and produce a weekly and monthly progress report. I was involved in setting up a new system to produce a 3D model of the programme and reporting against the model using software called A3D
  2. As Project Manager my role was to manage a project on day-to-day activities and to keep the project on programme and on budget. My role also to control and monitor the health and safety procedure on site.
  3. As Assistant Project Manager my role was to assist the project manager on day-to-day activities including procurements, producing method statements and risk assessments, producing all health and safety related documentations.
  4. I also produced and compiled all the as-built documentations and O & M manual documentations for each contract I was involved at the end of the contract.
  5. I also involved in developing and implementing new software called Siteman to enable a daily report of the cost to the head office.
  6. I also involved in developing and implementing new software called INVU for document controlling system.
