Laing O’Rourke Ireland, where I am the Project Planner on Terminal 2, Dublin Airport, Substructure & Superstructure Package (€50m), and also Kerbs & Forecourts Package (€20m), overall T2 project value is €650m. The works included are all associated excavation and ground works, formwork, reinforcement, frame connections, ring beams, concrete works, drainage, underground service provisions, ductwork, concrete columns and beams, floor slabs, removal of existing roads and the construction of new road networks & car parks.

Laing O’Rourke Ireland, Planner on Pier D, Dublin Airport. This was a €120m two storey 14,000m² pier building with arrivals (ground floor) and departures (first floor). The building construction was steel frame, concrete floors, metal deck roof, metal cladding to the ground floor level, with full glazing at first floor level. The building is fully serviced and the project included a full electrical, mechanical & IT systems fit out. The building also included a single storey elevated walkway, the central portion of which is a cable stayed bridge.
