Jen is a project controls manager for the major programmes and infrastructure team at Mace. A qualified civil engineer with over eleven years’ project planning experience. She provides project controls support to senior management through accurate reporting on project progress and providing timely insight to deviations from plan, incorporating requirements of contract requirements, being proactive against claims and instigation of appropriate mitigation plans to deliver on target. Her skills and experience of operating under a number of different forms of contract enables her to undertake programme reviews using network-based techniques to identify the critical path(s) and assess whether the programme meets recognised good practice; to understand, and assess key programme aspects such as identifying missing logic and highlighting the potential over-use of date constraints and excessive or forced float. She is an expert in various planning softwares such as Primavera, ASTA Power Project and MSP as well as the application of earned value management and KPI reporting.

Jen applies her experience to interpret and produce project specific solutions. As well as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills allowing for productive working relationships with the internal teams as well as clients.
