· Responsible for Pre & Post award activities of contracting process – for major EPC projects
· Provide contractual guidance /specialist advise to sponsoring departments related to the tender plan, contracting strategy, risks, contract type
· Develop and Review of scope / Compensation / evaluation criteria to ensure completeness, clarity, fill gaps, and to mitigate risks;
· Arrange and participate tender review , strategic & progress meetings between stakeholders
· Liaise with finance, legal, insurance experts during tender preparation for any customization
· Preparation and issuance of invitation to tender Packages / tender addendums / clarifications
· Arrange and conduct mid tender meetings / site visits, focal point during tendering process
· Facilitate and conduct overall tender evaluation process during technical / commercial evaluation / negotiation / clarification meetings
· Manage overall tendering process as focal point from tender initiation through contract award
· Preparation and presentation of evaluation findings, recommendations covering tendering activities and contract award to appropriate tender level committees
· Preparation and issuance of Letter of Award, compilation of contract documents for signature
· Liaise with other departments to conclude contract execution
· Conduct Kick off meetings; receive contractual submittals such as bonds and insurances
· Review of Post award contract administration of change orders / amendments
· Direct and advice to ensure full compliance with corporate procurement policies & procedures
· Participate in continuous improvement processes and develop new formats/procedures
· Delegation of authority as Head of Contracts, mentoring & training national employees
