Planning & Cost Estimator
· Report to the Project Director and head the Project Controls department and played a key role in executing projects with a combined value of SR25 billion.
· Monitor the progress of work of and adherence to schedules by contractors, subcontractors and vendors and implement remedial measures to bring the project back on track.
· Coordinate all engineering activities, review engineering documents of various disciplines, resolve interface issues, manage document control and optimize engineering man-hours.
· Establish project baseline schedules and preliminary budgets during project start-ups.
· Forecast and develop manpower and equipment requirement schedules, cash flow charts, s-curves and histograms.
· Develop material take-offs for each design stage and ensure control of material usage to meet project norms.
· Establish project milestones and prepare the preliminary contractor schedule, manpower tabulation, labour productivity rates and cash flow.
· Define requirements for manpower and equipment usage and efficiencies for smooth progress of the project.
Prepare project monitoring reports like project progress reports, variance analysis to identify deficiencies and implement mitigation plans to save time and costs
