Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Today new Trend has been observed in UK planning jobs due to recession which is really shameful.

Senior Planners who earned more than 45 gram per annum are compelled to do jobs at 30 -35 gram per annum so currently no Planner jobs are available in the market.

What a shame for Senior Planners? Their savings is nothing during their whole career so that they can survive during recession rather than snatching rights of Planner?

Hunger, mortgage, utilities bills???? These help them to do so?? …

Well Done recession, carry on till next decay….

Secondly, everyday on contract journal and construction sites, it is announced that billion pounds Contracts have been awarded to Big companies like Carillion, Kier, Balfour Beatty , Skanska etc but when you contact them for jobs, they tell you the same story that no jobs are available because projects still awarded to them not started.

What’s that? If no jobs in this country, then why these billion millions projects were wrongly advertised on these sites to make fool to the Construction Community. All Big Drama in this country like MP expenses?????????

Finally who execute such Billion Pounds Projects if started? ANGELS or DEVILS

Hi Ken

Thank you for your response.

I suggest that you start a new thread in the careers forum headed with something like:

Planners Required South East UK.

I will delete the thread in this section to avoid confusion.

Best regards

Hi Planners

I have some doubts about the validity of this thread - especially:

Note
- UK Work permit sponsorship is available to the right candidate.

If Mr SooChean Wong can demonstrate that this is not a fishing trip for CV’s and addresses then I can place it in a standalone thread.

Best regards

dude, your are rocking those euros. I wish i made anywhere near that amount (500 Euros per day). I am force to settle for pennies here in the US. Anyone needs a planner, am willing to travel anywhere in this great world of ours, i make a great assistant, and pretty good with the computer. lol....

Hi A.F

The rates have not dropped it depends what type of industry you are in.
Anyway there is a lot of work for us Seniors, like for me for example I am on the second job where they have had so called planners employed and they haved screwed up so badly cause the client wanted to save a peny. Now they are forced to hire someone to fix the shit and that is where we come in (Ha Ha) always place for us Senior Planners and yes at rates like 500Euros Plus per day

Back to the post-

Have main contractor’s salaries really fallen this far?

Any views on salary drops in the UK?

Are the days of senior planners / PC Managers in London earning £400-£550/day over?

Cheers.

Shimmo,

Interesting response; what do you think? Time for some investigatory action?

Hi Shimmo,

The construction of the post, the sentances within it, punctuation, even the spelling mistakes are identical. The style in which someone writes is incredibly difficult to disguise, which makes it very easy to recognise.
