We are currently in need of 4 Sr. Planners and 6 Junior Planners

Sr. Planning Engr.

1. Job Details
Designation Senior Planning Engineer – MEP
Reporting to Planning Manager
Grade: --
No. Required --

2. Function/Role
Responsible for issuing and monitoring the necessary project programmes i.e. Clause 14/Construction/Periodical “Look Ahead”for MEP Services as per contract requirements using PRIMAVERA/MS Project computer software.


3. Key Accountabilities
1. Ensures the necessary contract clause 14 programme is issued in consultation with Project & Construction Management
2. Issues the EPC/construction programmes
3. Issues necessary periodic short-term programmes
4. Monitors site progress against construction/periodic programmes in consultation with Planning Manager/Engineers/Senior Supervisors/Supervisors, and producing "S" curve with reference to planned/actual progress on site.
5. Prepares and monitors the commissioning programmes for all disciplines
6. Monitors sub-contractor programmes
7. Preparation of delay assessment/acceleration/extension of time programmes and schedules.
8. Issues the necessary entitlement programmes based on issued delay notices
9. Prepares, issues & monitors all construction, installation and commissioning programmes
10. Obtains information from Engineers/suppliers and prepares schedules for design drawings/material approvals and procurement in a timely manner to suit the construction programme.
11. Co-ordination of Civil and MEP works on site.

4. Desired Profile
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

Minimum Experience (number of years):
10 years experience working within an infrastructure/ high rise construction environment (preferably electromechanical).

Job-specific Skills:
Proficient in Primavera P3 and MS Project.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Good knowledge of MEP Services supply, installation and commissioning procedures.
Good command of English language, both spoken and written.
UAE driving license would be an advantage

Must be capable of independent interaction with project consultants
Good planning & Problem Solving Skills

Jr. Planning Engr.

Designation Junior Planning Engineer – MEP
Reporting to Senior Planning Engr. / Planning Manager
Grade: --
No. Required --

2. Function/Role
Prepares schedules of project activities.

3. Key Accountabilities
1. Supervision of planning and cost control activities for all projects
2. Production of the site progress reports against construction / periodic program in consultation with Planning Manager
3. Facilitating the submittal log and the drawing log & providing the document controlling
4. Preparing delay assessment sheets & suggesting programs based on the issued delay notices

4. Desired Profile
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

Minimum Experience (number of years):
3 – 5 years experience working within an infrastructure/ high rise construction environment (preferably electromechanical).

Job-specific Skills:
Proficient in Primavera P3 and MS Project.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Capable of independently generating construction program, look-ahead programs, and histograms.
Capable of generating and updating all kinds of project documentation
Good command of English language, both spoken and written.
UAE driving license would be an advantage
