Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I am currently working in Singapore on a Rail Project as a Planner and I have been trying hard to find opening in UK as a Rail Planner.

I got many responses from agencies but as soon as it comes to sponsoring work permit for me they lose interest in my application. Is it possible to notify all the agencies posting jobs here to clearly specify in their advt. whether they would like to receive applications from overseas candidate or not. Otherwise it just gets frustating for many planners like me who are trying for overseas assignment. Anyone with similar experience?

Hi there,

Yes, we are working on changing the script so that the recruiter will be forced to tell us if he can put forward "expat" CVs to their clients.

This should help.
