Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Badhru,

You are definitely eligible for the PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) exam and may be eligible for the PMP exam after you have accrued the minimum hours of approved training.

The eligibility for PMP requires you to be working as a ‘leader’ directing aspects of the work of the project. If your role was a lead planner or senior planner with at least one junior planner working under your direction you qualify - if you were simply working on your own with no one under your direction you don’t.  Directing and leading does not mean you are the person’s line manager, only that you are responsible for directing their work.
