Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we finalise the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

We have just started new site where we need Temporary Electrical Works Planning. Can someone help me to tell me the the list of activities to be carried out in this context?

Early response would be appreciated.

James,
Unfortunatley I have never done any electrical substation work.
The questions I mentioned to you were aimed at providing you with a starting point.
These are the type of things I’d ask to generate a converstation with the site manager and project engineer.

I’m very sorry if I misled you in my knowledge of the subject, however my background in aeronautical engineering and railway construction.

I would suggest that if you haven’t already received any more hints from PP, that you post these further questions on PP and see what sort of response you get back.

James,
A very open question indeed.

What is the nature of the project work, where will it be, what do you need to acheive with these early works?

I think you just need to get an understanding from the site manager as to what will be required, is it a temporary switch box on a pole? or are you wiring temporary buildings? Do you need a substation? What needs to be powered?

Sorry mate but it’s a fairly open ended question.
