Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Thank you Hannes de Bruyne

The primavera  Version is 6v7

java version is installed- jdk-6u23-windows-i586

JBoss home- jboss-5.0.1.GA

Address – http://localhost:8080/primevera web/

I folled step by step procedure given in oracle.Still I don't know why Icould not able to do it?

However I already done with P6v7 with the help of SQL databse. so what might the problem with oracle database.

Even I sucessfully configured the database in oracle.

may I know the point of difference in installlation of p6v7 via both of the database (SQL & Oracla).

Hello Anil

the most important information is missing in your question:

Which Version ????

6 ?

7 ?

8.0 ?

8.1 ?

8.2 ?

And which java version is installed ?

What kind of address are you using ?

Which port are you using ? Is this open?

The installationis nor quit easy, you should get support from an IT Person
