Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

I tried to import resources using Import Export (3.5.x) software.After exporting to xls format and then importing it it shows an error:
Undefined format found in this .XLS,

Also when try to open the exported .XLS file it shows the file is not in proper format or it may be corrupted.

Also Is there any option in selection tab to add activity code in the Field Box.

I am using P6.0 software.

Please give a solution.

Dear Chyn,

Thanks for the Reply.But the error doesn’t show it.I just fill the same column exported via the software.But it not getting imported.

Is there any other solution.

check the number of column in your P6 data maybe it exceeded xls column.
