Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Currently using P6 stand alone version. I would like to know if anyone has exported data to Microsoft Access updated in Access then Imported back into P6? We are consindering going to the server based product and Primavera Support has not resloved this issue! Any help would be great appreciated..

Larry,

If you use P6 stand alone it does have a DB underneath, likely SQL Server 2005 Express but surely MSDE.

Why not concentrate your efforts on migrating this DB directly into SQL on you server? I’ve moved Primavera SQL DB’s a few times, and apart from orphaned privuser and pubuser ID issues (which are easy to solve) this works seamlessly.

Hope this helps,

Niek.
