Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Export P3 file to Excel

Hi all,
realy i face a problem when i export P3 file to excel if this project exceed on 2500 activities how can overcom on this problem.

if u want to export the data from P3 to excel when the No of activity is more. While exporting save the document in database (.dBASE) format so u can export more activitys.

Select All, Cut and paste, you need to make sure that all the relevant columns are selected and make sure you know what you want to take it to Excel......

you can use the excel files in the RA folder found on P3 cd, they are very gud for all this tasks.
i always use them and find them quite useful.

Export it as a dbf and then open with Excel 2003 or earlier.
