Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

For those who have error when importing XER file into P5:
CVRJC-3802-1 TCCustomVirtualRow.getJoinedColItems: UDFVALUE row has blank fk_id

I’ve wrote a small utility to fix the structure of XER file and I’d like to share it.
The utility can be downloaded here:

Please check that your workstation has Microsoft .NET Framework version 2 installed.
It’s easy to verify – just go to your Windows\ Microsoft.NET\Framework\ folder and check the subfolders.
If you have something like this:
c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\ - everything is ok. If not – go there and download the Framework from Microsoft site.

Install the Framework then run _xer.exe again.
