Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi there,

It is sure all planners know that within Primavera 3.1 CD there are very useful excel files.( Primavera 3.1\Support\UTILS\EXCEL )like; ACTIVITY.xls, PROJECT.xls.

I have not tried Primavera version 5.0. But I wonder, are there similar supporting excel files for the Primavera version 5.0?

There is at least one file that you can download from the primavera web site to import and export details related to activity codes, calendars, resources, roles and a few more things. As well as this P5 has an integrated Excel import/export function anyway. I have read that this will be enhanced for version 6.
