Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Few more...

Schedules are mainly tracked on three things

1)Time
2)Resources i.e. Man, Material,Money
3)Site Inspection

The presentation of the these parameters can be done in many forms depending on the level at which are to be presented.

Tracking:

1. Establish baseline programme.
2. Distribute monitoring sheets to relevant supervisors(capture the relevant information you need to update schedule)
3. Set up the periodical updating date before which u need to receive the item 2.
4. Update the schedule(use baseline your target to check for any slippages)

in the next update, use the prev. update as your one of target schedule to verify any activities slipped from the completion dates, check over all project completion date...

many more things to add............
