Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hallo All,

Can any one guide that is it necessary to update the Hammock activities while updating a task driven schedule(To put actual dates and/or percentage complete.)

For hammock activities, You have to update actual start date and actual finish date. The percentage of hammock activities shall be automatically calculated.

Hi Ernani,

To create a Hammock Activity, create a new activity in their specific level and change the activity type to "hammock" then tie up with the predecessor (SS) & successor (FF).

Hammock is used when in an activity start and end dates are known and we want it (activity) to pick duration and adjust itself within the limits (start and end dates).

You can find hammock activities used in Cranes and Hoists section of our programme.
