Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Planners,

I convert a project from MS Project to P3, but when it is converted to P3, I found that all activities are independent, is there anybody know why?
Anyway, I used global change to change it to task.

Regards,

Moutaz

By default activities are "Independent" in MSP. That is when a resource is assigned to an activity then it will acknowledge the resource calendar, unless one checks the "Do not acknowledge resource calendar box". MSP does not have a equivalent to a Meeting task so they are often correctly imported as Independent. But as there are so many ways of importing a MSP schedule into P3 I am not sure they all treat the tasks the same way.
