Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

on my project the guys are trying to get the programme cost loaded to meet the clients requirements regarding EV. And are having trouble, mostly due to a disconnect between the cost breakdown and the WBS - costs are at a high level only - thats their problem!

What my problem is that the % Complete used is Duration % Complete.

I have only used Physical % Complete before for EV analysis, is it possible to use Duration % Complete ????

Does Primavera V5 calculate it and does it roll up properly???

cheers

There is no distinction between using either Physical % or Duration % complete in order to set Performance % complete (which is how P5 calculates Earned Value)

Duration % complete DOES roll up "properly" - but I cannot imagine what you would use that for if the client understands EVA - why not just roll up Performance % complete?
