(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

If you want i can send to you a "basic" example of how critical path method works.
That is what is inside CPM method and PERT. Critical chain deals with something related but not exactly the same.

Arrow Diagram Method (ADM) - Sometimes called the Critical Path Method (CPM)

Critical Path Method (CPM) - A scheduling method that uses diagrams to graphically display the logical sequence of workplan activities. This method use to determine the length (time)of a project and to identify the activities that are critical to the completion of the project on time.
