Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Suresh,

Topic is too wide to discuss. Please elaborate whats d scenario in ur project.

- Weather ur project is LUMPSUM or Item-Rate contract.
- Which system u r using - P3 alone or any other integration software like SAP/ERP?
- Whats d clients requirement?
- What d CONTRACT states?
- R u submitting Monthly MIS to management (I assume, u must have been submitting earned value calculations in that)
- What type of resources (Manpower & Machinary also) u feed into the Schedule

Combination of all above things will then decide what best suits ur project.

Cheers,

Raviraj
