Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

As i read the messages which post by Ali Hamouda on 11.02.2002 band i still do not understand how to link my access data base to P3? because my Q.S using the M.Access to prepare the tender and directly the Resourses and production rates are already inside the files.

I want to transfer the resourse and production rates(mean UPT) to P3.

1)Can anyone tell me how to establish the link at OCBC step by step or where i can get these info?

2) How to link the access data base to P3?

On the P3 knowledgebase

Bulletin Number: 200011616333

You need to install the Pervasive 32-bit ODBC driver that Primavera sends out, i.e. "Pervasive Software ODBC-32" version 2.04.02.10.

1. See Technical Bulletin 200052692630 - "Setting up SureTrak v3.0 for 32bit ODBC", and Technical Bulletin 1999330113639, "How to install the Pervasive 32-bit ODBC drivers" for instructions on installation and configuration.

2. If using SureTrak, save your project as a Project Groups type project if you haven’t done this already.

3. Go to Tools, Update Data Dictionary to create your *DDF files .

4. Create the Data Sources for the SureTrak projects you want to work with through the 32-bit ODBC driver in Control Panel.

5. Make sure that the project is not open in SureTrak or P3.

6. In Microsoft Access go to File, New Database to create a new database.

7. Give the database a name.

I hope this helps
